Founded in 2005 and employee-owned (ESOP) since 2025, EMP combines premium hardware (Zebra barcode scanners, label printers, mobile computers, RFID systems, machine vision, and wireless networks) with the services most resellers skip: onsite installation, factory-certified repair, in-house programming and systems integration, and ongoing managed support through EMPCare. When off-the-shelf does not fit the workflow, EMP's engineers design and build their own gear, from the FoldFlow fanfold label stacker to custom Match Code vision systems and 3D-printed enclosures. Headquartered in Westfield, Indiana, with onsite coverage across Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, and nationwide hardware fulfillment through a distribution-partner network, EMP serves customers in warehousing, manufacturing, healthcare, law enforcement, auto auction, and field mobility.
