Sometimes you just hang on, sometimes you go on offense. This year continues to be a year on offense for our group. First, we have been having fun putting our engineering team to work on solving customer problems with creative solutions. We have a couple of label fanfold products that we have completed.
We are also working on a more formal RFID middleware product. Not something that is application based, but more a product to filter and marshal data from RFID readers into the customers back-end systems. Having completed hundreds of RFID projects over the years has shown us that having this codebase already written and ready to deploy will help our customers get these projects implemented quickly and more cost effectively.
Plus, our usual custom project including automated label application, match code for barcode verification, custom rack labeling, building custom mobile power carts, the list goes on and on.
We have also been adding to the team. Mainly in sales as we are building up our inside sales team and later this year adding to our Account Manager ranks. The inside sales team is pivotal to our operations, having someone at their desk at all times to answer questions, provide quotes, process orders, keep tabs on your software and hardware renewals, keep you supplied with media, the list goes on and on.
So, summer brings exciting times around the company. Adding to our products, capabilities and personnel.
