Our partners at NewCastle Systems started us on this journey. They rented a truck and loaded it with their products, mobile power carts and device storage solutions. We invited them to come here to EMP so we could also invite some customers along. Then we got a little carried away and started accumulating some demos of our own.
Our EMP demos were RFID project reenactments, our fanfold and forcefold products, along with a nice demo of an RFID portal and Zebra ATR7000 in the ceiling. Plus a demo of Rich counting our Zebra parts inventory with RFID using a Zebra handheld reader and BarTender’s Track and Trace software.
Not to mention our drink and cookie serving robot, Tyler, Greg, and Drew all dressing alike on accident.
In other words, we had fun, some great customers showed up to enjoy, and we were glad we had an open house after about 6 years without one. Probably more technology events at our shop are coming soon.
