Summer is finally here and we've got our latest newsletter full of EMP products and solutions. We're not only a reseller, we're an integrator. And over the years through various projects, we've noticed a need for products and solutions that could be replicated for a broad range of customers. If you're from Indianapolis, you're familiar with what goes on here during this month. It's Race Month here in Indy. Only a few more weeks till the Greatest Spectacle in Racing: The Indianapolis 500. And it feels like the year has been going 200 MPH because summer is knocking on our doors. To close out Spring, we've got this month's "Between The Bars" featuring some great articles on Custom MES Integration with Seagull Scientific's BarTender, some slick new wearable hardware from Zebra Technologies, and a think piece from our own Dave Mattingly on the "Rules of ROI". All this and more!

Spring has finally sprung. But if you're like us here in Indiana, the weather doesn't truly reflect the season yet. But it will fall in line soon enough. That speaks true for our customers as second quarter business starts to pick up some steam. In this month's newsletter we cover our findings at hashtag MODEX2024, an opinion piece on "Cloud Software" by our own Dave Mattingly, and the unrivaled features within BarTender Cloud by Seagull Scientific.

March is a fairly significant month for us here in Indiana. If you have no idea what we're talking about, do yourself a favor and watch the film "Hoosiers" to understand our relationship with basketball. And just like basketball, you can have the best employees and still come up short on the road to a successful year. But when you give those employees the resources and the proper tools, the sky's the limit. In this month's "Between the Bars", we cover some of those helpful resources as well as a key tools for businesses just starting to print their own labels in-house.

Back to the bottom of the hill again. The beginning of a new year can easily feel like you're at the bottom of the hill again, forgotten how to climb. Yet sometimes all you have to do is open your eyes to the resources and surroundings from past journeys. Sometimes tools and strategies that worked before can help you jumpstart solutions for current problems. The New Year: The same goals, but different and here's why. There's nothing wrong with always trying to be better and mind you we will always strive to be. Happy Holidays from EMP Technical Group! This December issue is the "Best Of" issue! We've chosen the three best articles from each section of our newsletter to finish off the year strong. But also to reflect on some great resources and solutions we were able to provide for our customers and partners.

Have you integrated an ERP into your operations yet? Well, we have. On our own. We'd love to share our experience for those looking to upgrade with Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ups AND the downs. Also, how about a round of applause for Labels? It's easy to forget about labels especially for some customers as their initial focus is buying printers that would consume such labels. In this issue, we shine a light on everything "Labels". And finally, we dive deeper into 'why it's important to be a technology company in the AIDC industry'. It can be the difference between a great experience for a customer and bad one.

We're all about history around here and this particular issue covers the "The State and History of the A.I.D.C. Industry" in our Op Ed section by Dave Mattingly. We've also had some new blood join the group over the past several months and we finally give the thumbs up of approval to the best tablet we've ever seen come out of Zebra Technologies. Over a decade in the making, but well worth the wait. All of this and more inside!

We regret to inform you that summer is coming to a close. So, in its memory, we threw a company gathering full of friends, family, grilled meat, and a few beverages! But that's not all that we've been up to. September's newsletter features a really fascinating article and video demonstration on an automated label applicator in partnership with CTM Labeling Systems. AND if you've recently purchased Seagull Scientific's BarTender and are trying to master the software, there's a great webinar to help guide you on your path. All of this and more inside!

August is here and as the summer begins to wind down, we approach our busy season. What better way to kick it off by celebrating our 100th YouTube Video! We also zoom in on some of the many benefits to using our secret weapon, MCL Technologies, a rapid application development tool. And finally, we touch on a workflow featuring a VIPColor Technologies printer, producing 20k color labels over a couple days. It was part of a bigger project focused on helping a customer identify bays more seamlessly and efficiently within their warehouse. Follow along!

We've approached the halfway point in the year. It seems like yesterday we were weathering the brisk winter mornings. And in the same breath January feels like a distant memory. That is until we started looking at the amount of work that's already gone into the year. This month we focus on SOTI's Label Printer Device Management Software (SOTI Connect), the power of a symbiotic relationship with AI, and new transportation vehicles for our service techs.
