Yet sometimes all you have to do is open your eyes to the resources and surroundings from past journeys. Sometimes tools and strategies that worked before can help you jumpstart solutions for current problems. Happy Holidays from EMP Technical Group! This December issue is the "Best Of" issue! We've chosen the three best articles from each section of our newsletter to finish off the year strong. But also to reflect on some great resources and solutions we were able to provide for our customers and partners.

Have you integrated an ERP into your operations yet? Well, we have. On our own. We'd love to share our experience for those looking to upgrade with Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ups AND the downs. Also, how about a round of applause for Labels? It's easy to forget about labels especially for some customers as their initial focus is buying printers that would consume such labels. In this issue, we shine a light on everything "Labels". And finally, we dive deeper into 'why it's important to be a technology company in the AIDC industry'. It can be the difference between a great experience for a customer and bad one.

We're all about history around here and this particular issue covers the "The State and History of the A.I.D.C. Industry" in our Op Ed section by Dave Mattingly. We've also had some new blood join the group over the past several months and we finally give the thumbs up of approval to the best tablet we've ever seen come out of Zebra Technologies. Over a decade in the making, but well worth the wait. All of this and more inside!

We regret to inform you that summer is coming to a close. So, in its memory, we threw a company gathering full of friends, family, grilled meat, and a few beverages! But that's not all that we've been up to. September's newsletter features a really fascinating article and video demonstration on an automated label applicator in partnership with CTM Labeling Systems. August is here and as the summer begins to wind down, we approach our busy season. What better way to kick it off by celebrating our 100th YouTube Video! We also zoom in on some of the many benefits to using our secret weapon, MCL Technologies, a rapid application development tool. And finally, we touch on a workflow featuring a VIPColor Technologies printer, producing 20k color labels over a couple days. It was part of a bigger project focused on helping a customer identify bays more seamlessly and efficiently within their warehouse. Follow along!

We've approached the halfway point in the year. It seems like yesterday we were weathering the brisk winter mornings. And in the same breath January feels like a distant memory. That is until we started looking at the amount of work that's already gone into the year. This month we focus on SOTI's Label Printer Device Management Software (SOTI Connect), the power of a symbiotic relationship with AI, and new transportation vehicles for our service techs.

RFID. It's a hot button in our industry at the moment. Seems like everybody wants it, but they don't necessarily know how it works or where/how it can be applied. In today's marketing landscape, it's hard to gain someone's interest in a society where attention spans have shrunk due to forever evolving technology. We recognize this. So, we're bringing you more videos and more content without losing sight of who we are. We also know that we are the solution to the "Goldilocks" complex.
