Becoming an Employee-Owned Business the beginning this year has made us a little nostalgic. Thinking back over our history and how far we have come over those almost 20 years. How many great customers have given us opportunities, and how we have strived to meet their trust with excellent service and work.
Late in 2005, we were putting all the documentation together for our new company, the EMP Technical Group. November 15th is the date that the state of Indiana stamped on the Articles of Organization. I guess that will make this coming November 15th our official 20th anniversary.
Since we were spinning this new technology company out of the existing label company, Enterprise Marking Products. We were able to hit the ground running with a few hundred customers, and 5 employees already in place. Flash forward 20 years, and now we have 32 employees, and over 2,000 customers.
Processing 540 orders that first year, now processing over 8,000 orders per year. Thousands of successful customer projects under our belts, hundreds of years of experience in our group. We are more than ready for the next 20 years.
So, if you want to work with a team that is well seasoned in the field of automation. A team with a long-track record of helping our customers be more efficient. A group that is now employee owned and has the culture to think customers first. EMP is the place to be.
