The headline is a little misleading. Mobile App yes, for mobile printers, also yes. But not exclusively for mobile printers. Desktop and tabletop printers can also be managed using the Zebra Setup Utility Application on an Android or iOS device. Provided said printers have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and are running Link-OS on the printer.
Bluetooth only mobile printers really benefit from this tool since they are the hardest devices to configure. But the ability to walk up to any of your Zebra label printers and pair with them from a mobile device to change settings or get information about printing performance is a productivity game changer.
